Minister Farrakhan Addresses Haiti and President Obama's Troubles

February 25, 2010 many Muslims and supporters of the Nation of Islam came out to Chicago to celebrate Saviour's Day, the annual convention held to commemorate the birth of Master Fard Muhammad. This year also marked 80 years of service to the black community that the Nation of Islam has provided.

Workshops of all types ranging from "Raw Milk" to "Gangsters to Gods" were provided in many of the meeting rooms in the Stephens Convention Center and the Rosemont Hotel. A Childrens Village kept children busy playing on rides and getting their faces painted, while adults scurried from workshop to workshop and visited the many vendors in attendance. Karate exhibitions, comedy and jazz shows and a historic museum was also made available to the attendees.

One of the more popular workshops was one which discussed defending point number 12 of What the Muslims Believe. Dr. Wesley Muhammad and other scholars spoke and gave the audience some arousing spiritual food. Another popular workshop was the one that discussed the problems in Haiti. Dr. Ron Daniels and others were instrumental in relating to the audience some of the vital needs in Haiti.

Other workshops were provided by Iyanla Vanzant, Frank Lucas and Freeway Rick Ross, who were also special guests.

The workshops and other activities were appetizers, all leading up to the main course being delivered on Sunday, February 28th at the United Center, by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

The Minister appeared on stage to a thunderous applause and said it was a special spirit that he felt in the room and in those who traveled to get to Chicago. He said he had a special message for the entire world including President Obama. The Minister also said he had a special message for Haiti. He recommended bring Aristide back to Haiti and urged the forces in operation to allow him to go back.

Some of the special guests who spoke prior to the Minister included, Susan Taylor and Wyclef Jean. Raheem DeVaughn also blessed the audience with his musical talents and voice.

Minister Farrakhan honored Master Fard Muhammad and thanked those who helped organize this year's convention including the Brother Ademah, who directed the event and his wife Sister Khadijah Farrakhan, who organized the Children's Village.

The Minister also spoke about a letter written by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad to Brother Jabril (Bernard Cushmeer) explaining who he (Farrakhan) was and how Jabril came to him years later with the letter, which helped him realize his mission.

The Minister took time to discuss some of his history in an attempt to show that the events surrounding his life are Divinely guided. He talked about his experience of traveling on a wheel known by many as a UFO and spoke with the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and how revelations were given to him concerning the bombing of Colonel Khadafi's house. He informed the audience about the powers of the wheels and how the bombs on the planes operate, sending a bomb down through the earth's surface one mile deep, which will explode and bring up a mountain, one mile high. The governments know about the wheels but will not teach the people about them, said Farrakhan, even though the scientists have said that the technology of the planes were one million years in advance of ours.

He told the audience that former President Clinton bombed Sudan and how he has been given the vision to see the mind of the Presidents including Ronald Reagan.

The Minister began his conclusion by talking about how President Obama was "selected" before he was "elected". He warned Wyclef Jean to be careful because Wyclef may be "selected" to be a puppet in Haiti for others. He mentioned the way Haiti has been so abused and that America owes a debt to Haiti. He also stated that the far right was trying to set up the President for assasination. He said the Zionists want Obama to bomb Iraq.

The Minister also spoke about the families who controls the money in America including the house of Rothchilds, the Rockefella's, and the Kennedy's. He said it was money and not the freeing of slaves the killed Lincoln.

Minister Farrakhan, ended with a challenge to the government to come after him and his power will be made manifest. He said he would be going away but he would be coming back. He stated he was going to be in the presence of God. He said there will be earthquakes in America like there has been in Haiti and in Chile and that the planes known as UFO's will be visible in the United States soon.

His last call was to President Obama to speak up for black people and our ills.

Overall, the spirit in Chicago was very high with many happy faces being seen at every turn. Brothers Richard and Ashahed did a great job with the media outlets who came out showing wonderful hospitality and respect. It was a pleasure to have covered this years Saviour's Day and I look forward to next year.
